The project aims to deliver a cohesive streetscape that improves the landscape character of the surrounding civic precinct, around the GovHub and Ballarat Library. Our scope included street tree planting, landscape treatments to planting areas, improved pedestrian paths, street furniture, and Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) elements, including passive irrigation tree pits.
The design plans achieved Council’s aim of providing a ‘car park in a park’, whilst delivering maximum carpark numbers within the street.
