MR Power Park

MR Power Park is a 40.4 hectare reserve in Sebastopol. We were engaged in 2016 to prepare the landscape masterplan and have since delivered staged detailed design and documentation across multiple precincts. 

Phase 1 - WEtland basin

Our scope focused on the development of planting design and soft landscape treatments for the stormwater basin and its surrounding open space. Pedestrian connectivity within the reserve was also considered to improve access and integration with the broader parkland network. The design has been completed in 2022.

Phase 2 - Carpark and surrounding area

We worked collaboratively with civil engineers to deliver detailed design for the car park and surrounding areas. The project included a multifunctional community recreation precinct with improved access, upgraded parking, pathways, landscaping and park infrastructure.

Key features included a senior exercise park, shelters, picnic facilities, seating and associated amenities.The reviesed deisgn is completed in 2026.

Phase 3 - Woodland Area

The landscape strategy focused on increasing tree canopy cover and introducing a layered understorey planting palette to create a woodland character. Planting was carefully structured to maintain clear sightlines across key areas, supporting passive surveillance while retaining visual richness.
