Our design responded to the brief by transforming an unused, hard-surfaced asphalt area into a vibrant and integrated outdoor play and learning space for children of varying age groups.

Our design responded to the brief by transforming an unused, hard-surfaced asphalt area into a vibrant and integrated outdoor play and learning space for children of varying age groups. The aim was to create an environment that encourages outdoor activity, sensory engagement, and informal learning through play.

Key elements of the design included:

  • Natural Play Features: Integration of natural rocks and wooden logs to create informal seating and play opportunities that stimulate physical interaction and imaginative play.
  • Sensory-Rich Environment: The layout and material selection were driven by the sensory interests of children, ensuring a stimulating, attractive space that invites exploration.
  • Outdoor Learning Opportunities: The space is designed not just for play but also for structured and unstructured outdoor learning, fostering a connection with nature and encouraging curiosity.
  • Signages : A range of welcoming signage designs guide, inform, and engage users while enhancing the environment.
