Thomson Hay Landscape Architects were engaged by Northern Grampians Shire Council to create an urban renewal project within the main street of Stawell on the site of a former service station. The project was strategically sited at the end of the main street and directly adjoins the town's war memorial.
Our landscape design included terraces to deal with the moderate slopes of the site, whilst creating a number of distinct spaces. The spaces include an open lawn area, a shady urban forest and a multi-purpose community space with a lightweight contemporary arbor structure for additional shade.
