The playground provides a focal point within the open space reserve and offers a variety of activities including a spiral path that crosses a dry creek bed and tunnel, leading up to a “poppet head” timber climbing tower with a wave slide. Other play elements include a pendulum swing and climbing and balancing logs. We worked with chainsaw artist, Raw Boards, and sculptor, Folko, to add some carved and sculptured Australian animals to the playground.
The landscape design delivers a harmonious blend of convenience, functionality and natural beauty.
