This project developed concept designs and documentation of the Harcourt Valley Kindergarten Play Yard. The kinder is being built within the Harcourt Valley Primary School grounds and has a high BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) rating of 29. The landscape design needed to provide excellent kinder education and play outcomes and required a strong response to bush fire threat including the provision of a 10m defendable space.
We developed the Kinder yard design in collaboration with the Kindergarten and School staff, the VSBA, architects, access auditor and playground auditor.
