Frog Calls21.09.2016
It is refreshing to see the landscape come to life after the rain! These constructed wetlands at Stonehill Estate in Bacchus Marsh were ringing with frog calls on a site visit this morning. I'm no frog expert, but they sound like Common Froglet and Poddlebonk. We have seen many birds at this site including a swooping Magpie. The pond was planted in 2014 and the series of ponds will eventually extend down the gully to Werribee River. |
