Nhill Aerodrome

Thomson Hay Landscape Architects were engaged by the Hindmarsh Shire to prepare a detailed master plan for the Nhill aerodrome and former World War II RAAF base.  Working in close consultation with Council and the project committee, design outcomes included airfield infrastructure, commercial and residential development, historical interpretation and detailed schematic plans for the proposed Nhill Aviation Museum to be constructed to house a restored Avro Anson aircraft.
